Swim spa buying guide: length, swim jets and the dual-temperature option
What separates a fourteen-foot swim spa from a thirty-foot dual model, using the dimensions, jets and pumps we publish for each of the six.
A swim spa is a fixed-length pool you swim against a current in, with a seating area at one end. We stock six, from fourteen feet to thirty. The differences that actually change how you use one are length, how many swim jets drive the current, and whether the unit runs one temperature or two.
Length
Length sets the swim. A shorter unit gives you a current to swim against in place; a longer one gives you that plus enough water to move through. It also sets what the yard has to accommodate — the twenty-foot and thirty-foot models are a different delivery problem from the fourteen.

The dual-temperature models
Two of the six are dual units: the 20ft Dual Santorini and the 30ft Dual Maui. Each has two independent temperature systems, so the swim end and the hot tub end run at different temperatures at the same time, and each can have one side winterized while the other stays in use.
That is the feature worth paying for if the alternative you are weighing is a swim spa and a hot tub. One unit, one delivery, one set of plumbing, two temperatures.
Electrical, and what we do and do not publish
Two models in this range carry a published electrical service: the 14ft San Fran and the 15ft New Yorker. Both appear in the table above, in the wording we publish for them.
Delivery
Delivery is included with every model. What that covers is not identical across the six, so it is stated on each model's own page in our own words for that model rather than promised in general here. The larger units are craned into position where the record says so.
A twenty-foot swim spa is very difficult to judge from a photograph. Viewing is by appointment.
